The New Haven Pride Center is a community focused non-profit organization co-creating a space to empower Greater New Haven LGBTQIA+ individuals to not just survive, but thrive and uplift each other and our voices.
Dog Star Rescue
Dog Star Rescue, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, is a dog rescue organization based in the Hartford, CT area that takes in owner surrenders in Connecticut and works closely with established partner shelters Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana to save the lives of loving and loyal dogs.
The Sweetheart College Award
Started in 2025, the Sweetheart College Award is a financial incentive of $1000 to assist outstanding LGBTQIA+ and ally students in pursuit of their educational goals at an accredited college or vocational institution. This award is designed to support the achievements of members of our diverse sexual and gender communities and our allies.
